Inspiration
After 15 hours of trying to setup the oculus rift, we realized that the given mechanics were not sufficient, thus we decided to try and recreate our own virtual reality machine.
What it does
It a virtual reality machine allowing users to an immersive 3D experience.
How we built it
We used an old French Bean cardboard box as the shell, and soylent bottles as the eye pieces. Lots of duct tape to hold it together and toilet paper for cushioning.
Challenges we ran into
The development of the game proved to be very complicated as none of us had experience with Unity.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to create a working virtual reality machine using items readily found in a house hold, as well as a cell phone.
What we learned
With great power comes great responsibility.
What's next for French Bean Oculus
Continuing app development via Unity.
