Inspiration

I was looking for a credit card, but realized how difficult it can be. There are a million factors, but really only 3 do anything. We wanted to create a solution to make finding credit cards easy for people who dont want to spend hours applying.

What it does

Based on your income and credit score, it will give suggestions on what card you should apply for. This uses machine learning on a large collection of credit cards to give the most accurate result.

How we built it

We used ReactJS for the front end interface, with a node backend. This ran our machine learning model.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the ML model to work just right to give accurate results.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Were proud of the fact we were able to come up with the idea and implement it in such a short time frame. JavaScript is something none of our teammates are too familiar with, so building a project is a big step.

What we learned

We learned alot about web development and AI. We also learned alot about how API endpoints work (And cors security).

What's next for Freenancial

We plan to IPO in 5 years and sell to Wells Fargo for 453 Million, and improve the application I guess.
