What it does

FreelancoDAO's solution is to provide a non-custodial, decentralized platform where clients and freelancers can collaborate without intermediaries.

How we built it

The initial iteration focused on the implementation of Smart Contracts as an escrow mechanism, providing a rudimentary solution. Building upon this foundation, the second version introduced a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) to enhance transparency and governance. The latest iteration further elevates the system's capabilities by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) voting mechanisms

Shivam focused on developing smart contracts and incorporating the GPT voting, while Lalit worked on the frontend and backend development. The technology stack involved Solidity for smart contracts, Hardhat for testing, React.js for the frontend, and Node.js for the backend. Throughout the development process, progress was tracked using GitHub issues and milestones.

Challenges we ran into

Dataset creation: Building a dataset to train the GPT model proved to be a challenging task.
Decentralized inference pipeline: Developing and writing tests for the pipeline to run the inference process in a decentralized manner using Chainlink Functions was complex.
Gas optimization: Reducing the contract size of the FreelancoGovernor Contract to fit within the constraints of EIP-170 presented challenges. The team mentioned the future scope of working on a diamond proxy, as defined in EIP-2535.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

AI-powered algorithms can help decision-making, enabling a faster and more efficient dispute resolution process. By utilizing the use of Blockchain technology, we can ensure that AI makes censorship-resistant and automated decisions free from human influence or bias.
