There are currently no solutions for analytics that are open source and free. Everyone needs analytics and everyone wants their data to be secure and not passed to other servers -- people end up either using many different free analytics platforms (e.g. Google), pay for some, and maybe build their own... and everything is closed source, so building analytics systems is never a simple process. Free Flight Analytics is a modular open source analytics platform that allows users to easily integrate free open source analytics into their stack and plug and play their own analytics on top of it. As our first analytics product using the platform, Free Flight has created user session tracking software that's never been done before -- we can playback and create videos of a user on your site.
