Inspiration and Description

With all the coding resources at our disposal, it can get overwhelming to pick which websites to refer to. Our web app gathers courses from the most popular resources such as Coursera, and Medium, and allows users to pick a course/tutorial based on their learning style, skill level, and the amount of time they want to spend learning.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our group was able to practice backend development using Flask and Beautiful Soup for web scrapping, and frontend development using React with Tailwind CSS.

What's next for FreeCourseX

We would like to develop a more hashed out results page with the courses divided into different learning styles, as well as create a section with a recommended pathway for users to follow, and even add ML-based recommendations.
