Inspiration
As experience designers, we are always looking for a challenge or a problem to solve. Mental health and self-care are one of the most important aspects of our lives. Curious about why humans ignore or neglect this and how can we create an immersive experience that helps you unload your daily stress.
What it does
Learning that most of our target user's coping mechanisms are different but they all have the feeling of escaping in common. We are trying to leverage art to create instant tranquility by creating a sense of disconnection
How we built it
We used ShapeXR to test out our art piece design and how it will work in a 3D environment then we went into Unity to deploy the experience for the headset
Challenges we ran into
- Learning about stress and our experience with daily work/school stress
- Testing and creating an escape or distraction experience using visual and sound elements
- Prototyping in ShapeXR
- Developing in Unity
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are extremely happy that we have been able to create an actual working product in a short time.
What we learned
We learned how to use multiple tools like Unity and ShapeXr
What's next for Free Fall
