Inspiration

The climate emergency and Net Zero ambitions for 2050 have raised recognition of the urgency of the action wanted and has given the public a thirst for thoughts for the most wonderful moves they can take. inspired by the data driven environment on Monday can use it for improving climate offsetting . Its funny, that lot of emissions in environment going on. if you can outline the logic, you want to be able to automate. part of a team of international researchers from studies developed a list of the most-effective modification to household consumption to reduce our carbon footprint. alt text

What it does

Fred can fetch in data from Rest service ,in this case to look for climate emission related feeds or Api. Together with the Vue app front end it can be added to a board. It will read,write the board's Monthly Car ,power, gas ,travel consumption and estimate to show items carbon usage. It also adds volunteers to teams from app , because it give employees satisfaction.

How we built it

we broke down our goals into 2 parts. How would users score carbon useage? How could monitor any climate emission news.I built a standalone boardview Vue app to connect with Monday board thru ngrok. Used Monday api to onboard data. uploaded the view to monday

Challenges we ran into

Solving integration of Monday with Visual editor for the flow logic process , automation to work .While it was in development ,app needed to have local copy of Visual editor to be live for to develop inside Monday. After development had to find hosting online.
