Inspiration

82-year-old grandmother commits suicide after falling for scam. Though scam victims are of all ages, it’s the elderly that lose the most. FraudGuard is an innovative mobile application that protects you or your loved ones against phone scamming.

What it does

Utilizing advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence, FraudGuard can identify conversations that may pose an immediate threat of scams. Upon detection, FraudGuard promptly notifies designated individuals, empowering them to verify and take necessary actions to prevent potential losses.

What's next for FraudGuard

• Conduct in-depth research and prototype AI models for accurate scam detection.
• Finalize the development of the application prototype for the Android platform.
• Initiate a beta trial to gather user feedback and assess the performance of the application in real-world scenarios.
• Contact Google to discuss the potential integration of the scam risk assessment feature into Android.
