Inspiration

Our inspiration was the floral theme of the hackathon

What it does

Our project is a GAN on a virtual machine that creates floral images 32px32p big

How we built it

we built it initially on python, and then transferred it onto a virtual machine on google cloud servers.

Challenges we ran into

We were sadly not allowed to use GPUs on the google cloud platform, which definitely is necessary for image generation and the huge amounts of computation that we were using.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the successful implementation of a GAN that we fed and trained ourselves through a virtual environment that we were not very familiar with.

What we learned

we advanced our cloud and automation skills as well as our machine learning and generation skills.

What's next for Framework Flowers

we are thinking of implementing a way to create mosaic-like image deconstruction and reconstruction with our floral icons as larger pixels, refactoring an image into a mosaic of unique flowers.
