Inspiration

I was inspired by the best gaming track for SBU hackathoin and so I decided to make a FPS game with a basic sandbox and shooting in the provided time frame.

What it does

The first player has to shoot all enemies that come in his way and survive the outbreak

How I built it

The game has been designed in Unity3D gaming engine and the scripts for attack, AI, zoom and jittering, etc have been written in C#

Challenges I ran into

I ran into a lot of challenges: Making the wireframe Reducing jitter swift movement of player and triggering enemy AI choice of assets Making the trigger effect and spark on the shoot Logic Scripting Exporting using WebGL

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I got an opportunity to learn stuffs that I always wanted to work on and improve and come up with an exciting project for the hackathon.

What I learned

I developed logic and understood various functionalities of Unity , exlored documentation and got to learn a lot of ways and best practices to create an AI in a game and assign life to the inanimate charcters and control their movement and response.

What's next for FPS Enemy Shooter - SBU Hacks

I would like to add more assets, like trees, sounds, and an improved sandbox, multiple weapons, animations during trigger and incurring attacks, and also creating levels and increasing the difficulty as levels progress.
