Inspiration
A number of horrifying graphics of the state of India during the pandemic have been circulating around the internet. As we learned more about the situation, we decided that we needed to come up with a feasible solution for the issue.
What it does
As such, we decided to create an Op-Ed detailing the situation and some policy suggestions we had to better the current state of India. Each policy was backed with research and means of implementation.
How we built it
We wrote the Op-Ed on a Google Document.
Challenges we ran into
Given the enormous population of India, it was difficult to come up with policies that would help hospitals account for everyone.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
As we developed our policies, we’re proud to say that we have learned so much not only about the current state of India during the COVID-19 pandemic, but also about the various technologies we’ve implemented in our paper. This includes telemedicine, home-body care, and a blockchain-based EHR system.

What's next for Four-prong Plan for India's COVID-19 Crisis
The most immediate step is to make the government and corporations aware of these plans such that they are able to roll them out in the very near future. Although many of these policies are ambitious, we believe that they can greatly aid India.
