Inspiration
We experience three-dimensional space every day, but what about the fourth dimension? Often forgotten (probably because we can’t see it, or visualise it), but it is nonetheless a fundamental concept in computer science (quaternions, anyone?). I built this with the hope of making the fourth spatial dimension (slightly) more accessible to people, in the form of a fun and familiar game. If imaginary complex numbers aren’t spooky enough for a Halloween hack, I don’t know what is
What it does
Lets you play Noughts and Crosses in the fourth dimension
How we built it
JS, HTML, Three.js, and a lot of arrays
Challenges we ran into
I worked as a solo team so had to code fast to get something finished before the deadline
Accomplishments that we're proud of
4D! Noughts and Crosses!
What's next for Four-Dimensional Noughts and Crosses
5D? Quantum? The possibilities are endless
