Inspiration

Our inspiration is basically our locality where many small shopkeepers and household businesses are there but are not much recognized. We everyday see them selling their products but on a low income than the retail prices. Many of them are unknown, lack quality resources and also they don't have any source of extra income for a better living, and seeing the unemployment graph increasing day by day is a concern for everyone so this will give boost to employment sector also and this thing motivated us in doing our role to develop this platform.

What it does

The mission of this project is to urge small-scale businesses in our country. Through our platform, we have tried giving exposure to all those sellers who aren't able to come under the umbrella of economic development due to tough competition among the big-branded companies. We have built an app and a website to serve our purpose the best to these sellers.

How we built it

We used XML and JAVA for the android application and have integrated RPA when a seller registers his/her shop on our app and also when the shop is verified by our team.

We have also built a website using HTML, CSS, JS, AJAX Call, SCSS, Tailwind CSS on the frontend part with Node JS, Express JS, EJS, NPM Packages on the backend part. We used MongoDB database and passport JS, passport-Locals for the authentication purpose. We used Socket.io library for real-time connections and Laravel Mix as our other tools along with the MVC pattern to build our website.

We integrated RPA technology where it served our purpose for :- Signup Automation Payment Automation Shopkeeper Registration Automation Offer Mails

Challenges we ran into

There were some challenges that we ran into while building this project. Some of them are as follows:-

1) Connecting RPA Technology with payment automation

2) Faced some issues when using Socket.io library for real-time communication between the browser and the server.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are really glad that we were able to built almost the complete app and website within 48hours of duration. We didn't expect that we could achieve this milestone so early and we are really proud of our team members who worked consistently for this project to bring it to such a level in so less time.

What we learned

Creating this Platform not only benefits the sellers but also to the customers. We have created such a nice platform where we got to know the mixture of Innovation and lifestyle with the salt of Technology. Technology is for better tomorrow and for better tomorrow there is technology.

What's next for Four Corners

In the upcoming days many new features will be added to the platform which will enhance the seller and customer interaction with covering more and more areas and cities and yes, last but not the least many upcoming offers will also be there for both the customers and the sellers.
