FoundR

Inspiration

Not knowing how to start a business, along with a need for networking. Networking can sometimes be hard if you don't know where to look, but FoundR makes it easy.

What it does

Foundr takes two users with similar preferences and matches them. Both users will be shown on each others' pages, and will be given the opportunity to "like" or "dislike" the other. If both people like, they will be able to communicate and interact with each other. If one or both of them dislike, nothing happens and both users can continue "swiping".

How we built it

We utilized python, html, and css to create a functional website using Flask with a database of users.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into various challenges working on the same code at the same time. The different changes being made were difficult to push and pull while keeping the code functional.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of how much we were able to get done in the span of a day. Many of us have never created a website ever before, yet we were still able to contribute to the actual functionality and programming of the website.
