Inspiration

The most ambition in the world and no where to put it. I'm 19, finishing my first year of college, and I kept meeting people with incredible ideas and zero people to build with. 90% of solo startups because you can only do so much on your own. I built FOUNDER to change that.

What it does

A platform where founders struggling on their own find their team using AI matching, pitch their idea and test the market before EVEN going to market, compete in real hackathons together to raise funding and awareness , and discover the startups shaping the world right now. A place where every builder — whether you have an idea, a skill, or just a dream — has somewhere to go and someone to build with.

How we built it

Built in 48 hours using Lovable for rapid full stack development, Tavily API for live hackathon and startup discovery, Supabase for authentication, real-time database, edge functions, and video storage, Gemini AI for co-founder matching, React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS for the frontend, and PostgreSQL with Row Level Security for the backend.

Challenges we ran into

Fully fixing the match system where it not just AI SLOP Breaking down the ideas of why it wouldnt work. Reversed engineer it to see why people would not use it or why it wouldnt work. Put my self in the shoes of if i would use it or not. Research other similair systems to see if market is alive

Have multiple people active on waitlist, waiting to use. Reached 300,000 profiles views on marketing

What we learned

The wrong co-founders will kill your startup. The right ones will change the world. Anything is possible for those who refuse to fail.

I'm 19 years old and I'm not married to this idea — I'm married to the goal. And by all means I will reach it. The goal of building something that matters, creating real value, and proving that age is never a limitation. The roadmap is clear.
