We built FounderLens because we believed that every idea deserves a fair shot — regardless of budget, background, or connections. We wanted to democratize market research and put the power of a full business analyst in everyone's pocket, for free.

What it does

How we built it

FounderLens was built entirely using MeDo — with zero coding. Here is exactly how we structured the build: Phase 1 — Architecture with one prompt: We wrote a single comprehensive prompt describing every page, component, color palette, and feature. MeDo's agentic AI scaffolded the entire frontend, backend, and database automatically in minutes. Phase 2 — UI refinement through conversation: Using MeDo's multi-turn chat we refined the landing page hero section, improved card layouts, added smooth loading animations, and upgraded the overall visual quality — all by describing changes in plain English. Phase 3 — Feature layering: We added the PDF download feature, dark/light mode toggle, confetti animation for high scores, report history, and share via link — each through simple conversational prompts with MeDo. Phase 4 — One-click deployment: MeDo deployed FounderLens to a live public URL instantly — no server setup, no DevOps, no configuration needed. Total build time: One day.

Challenges we ran into

Prompt precision: Getting MeDo to generate exactly the right layout required detailed, structured prompts. Vague prompts gave generic results — we learned that specificity is everything. Results consistency: Making sure the AI-generated reports felt structured and professional across different idea inputs required careful prompt engineering on the backend logic. Design balance: Achieving a premium look without overcomplicating the UI took several iterations through MeDo's chat to get the balance between information density and visual clarity just right. Mobile responsiveness: Ensuring the results dashboard looked equally impressive on mobile as on desktop required specific refinement prompts focused on layout breakpoints.

What we learned

Prompting is a skill. The quality of what MeDo builds is directly proportional to the quality of your prompt. Being specific, structured, and detailed makes an enormous difference. No-code is the future. What used to require a team of developers, designers, and DevOps engineers can now be done by one person with a clear vision and the right AI platform. Speed of iteration is everything. MeDo allowed us to go from idea to live product in hours — a feedback loop that would have taken weeks with traditional development. AI removes barriers.
