Inspiration

Every year, thousands of founders and developers spend weeks or even months building products that ultimately fail because the idea was never properly validated. As developers, we often get excited about building features, but we rarely stop to ask the most important question:

"Should this product even be built?"

Founder Scope was inspired by this problem. We wanted to create a platform that acts like an AI-powered startup advisor, helping entrepreneurs evaluate ideas before investing significant time, money, and effort into development.

Instead of relying on guesswork, founders can receive data-driven insights about market opportunities, competition, risks, revenue potential, and product viability within seconds.

What it does

Founder Scope is an AI-powered startup validation platform.

Users simply enter a startup idea, and the platform performs a comprehensive analysis from the perspective of a startup founder, venture capitalist, and product strategist.

How we built it

The platform was built using a modern SaaS architecture.

The user submits a startup idea through an intuitive interface. The request is processed using OpenAI, which generates a structured startup analysis. The results are then displayed through an interactive dashboard with scoring systems, insights, and recommendations.

Stripe integration allows premium features to be unlocked through subscriptions.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was transforming complex startup evaluation criteria into a clear and understandable user experience.

Another challenge was ensuring that AI responses remained structured and consistent so that analysis results could be displayed reliably across different dashboard components.

We also focused heavily on designing a professional SaaS experience that feels like a real startup product rather than a prototype.
