Inspiration

Most startup and VC media outlets focus on interviewing unicorn founders. But we believe the world needs more entrepreneurs, and early founders deserve more chances to get exposure and tell their stories.

What it does

This platform allows early founders to conduct an AI-powered self-interview, publish it instantly, and promote themselves through our media channels.

How we built it

I built an AI interviewer using Vapi and the OpenAI API, and implemented an automated editing pipeline to generate clean, publish-ready interview videos.

Challenges we ran into

Our automatic cut-editing system still lacks accuracy, so improving the precision of our editing workflow remains a key challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that we were able to build a working prototype. An AI interviewer that founders can use immediately, and create a seamless experience from interview to publishing.

What we learned

We learned how difficult and important it is to design an AI workflow that feels natural, supports founders effectively, and produces content good enough for real media distribution.

What's next for Founder's self interview

We plan to improve the accuracy of automatic editing, support direct uploader workflows for higher-quality videos, collect founder insights to generate additional promotional interviews, and publish the best stories across YouTube and our magazine.
