Foster Friends

Inspiration

There are many independent rescuers that save and foster animals. However, their services aren't always well-documented and there are times when they need to find other fosters to care for the rescued animals. Additionally, several individuals are open to fostering animals or already do so. There is no existing platform that allows these groups to register and organize themselves, which leads to animals being transferred to shelters and even euthanized due to a lack of room. Foster Friends is my idea for an application that allows these groups to network and communicate in order to make fostering efficient, consistent, and safe.

The mockups for the application pages show some of the features that the Foster Friends would offer, such as allowing users to find other fosters near them, adding foster pet profiles, and finding a new foster for a particular pet.
