Inspiration
Capitol One's challenge asks for any type of financial hack, this led us to think about how we could improve our own financial goals as a college students. Based on our current experience, we created an application that teaches students on how to better manage their income.
What it does
Our webpage allows users to learn more about how to manage their money. It gives students knowledge on saving, budgeting, and investing.
How we built it
We built the front-end using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS in Visual Studio Code and combined it with figma for the prototype of the proceeding pages.
Challenges we ran into
Combining JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to create one integrated website was challenging.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
With much effort through many hours of work, we created working project. Despite this being our first hackathon, we were able to complete the process, starting from designing the idea to creating a working webpage.
What we learned
As people that are still learning about front-end and back-end coding, we gained a lot of experience on how to create a working project from start to end.
What's next for Fortune for Future
We plan to create a more in depth functions like a way for students to input information about their budget and learn how to manage their money
