Inspiration

Healthcare paperwork costed U.S. $812 billion in 2017, and has only increased since then. Administrative duties are far from the best use of time and resources, impacting patient care and increasing physician burnout.

What it does

Formulate is a secure mobile app that transfers your medical and insurance information to your medical clinic.

How it works

Formulate relies on FHIR-based APIs to update key patient-specific medical information in real-time, deliver event notifications, maintain organization in transitions of care, and implement FHIR’s medication module. FHIR-based APIs make formulate compatible with top medical software systems as well.

It eliminates the need for external software to be used alongside FHIR and InterSystems technology through built-in event management capabilities.

At the clinic, a no-contact transfer of patient information through bluetooth allows all pertinent medical information to be instantly and securely stored.

To respect patient data privacy, formulate utilizes the @ company software. This allows formulate to access, but not store, patient data and consequently complies with ethical and legal standards.
