Formivue Banana Hacks 2026

Inspiration

Our inspiration for this project came from realizing that many architectural tools are complicated and require professional skills to use. Architects and engineers often spend a significant amount of time trying to design and bring their visions to life. Our team wanted to create something that anyone could use, allowing users to simply describe their ideas and instantly see them come to life.

What it does

Formivue allows users to generate complete building concepts simply by describing their ideas. The platform brings those ideas to life visually and gives users the ability to fine-tune and customize the generated designs to match their preferences.

How we built it

To create Formivue, we first sketched ideas for how we wanted the website to look. Next, we designed the layout using HTML and CSS. Then, using JavaScript, we made the website interactive and added features such as 3D views and different building styles. After generating a building concept, users can further edit and customize it to their desired taste. Finally, we tested the website and refined the design until everything worked smoothly.

Challenges we ran into

Some of the biggest challenges we faced were debugging numerous errors in our code and learning how to navigate GitHub effectively. These obstacles took time to overcome and required patience, teamwork, and persistence.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating a functional website that can transform simple user descriptions into building concepts. We are also proud of successfully implementing interactive features, working through technical challenges, and collaborating effectively as a team throughout the project.

What we learned

Throughout this project, we learned how to work together more effectively as a team, solve coding problems efficiently, and navigate GitHub with greater confidence. We also learned the importance of perseverance and patience when facing difficult challenges.

What's next for Formivue Banana Hacks 2026

In the future, we plan to improve Formivue by adding more building styles, expanding customization options, improving the accuracy and quality of generated concepts, and enhancing the overall user experience. Our goal is to make architectural design more accessible and intuitive for everyone, regardless of their experience level.
