Inspiration

Working out without a trainer can be difficult to improve by yourself. Using Gemini as a guide can help.

What it does

This app takes a short video of yourself working out for an exercise, and returns feedbacks to you to improve your form. It also generate a image of the correct form and movement you should try to improve on.

How we built it

I used google ai studio and the gemini chat

Challenges we ran into

while testing, my quota ran out, so i had to create a new account to access the new gemini-3-pro-preview and gemini-3-pro-image-preview models for free.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

the final prompt was relatively easy. but the trials and errors i encountered took a lot of time.

What we learned

if something doesn't work, its always good to change the strategy and try something new and different.

What's next for FormFix AI

i actually tried generating a video with correct form. but it was too hard, so i went back to just generating an image with 3 consecutive movements. it would be nice to generate a video that shows the correct movement of the person of interest in the input video.
