Inspiration

Our business analysts, administrators, and developers were spending excessive time manually drafting user stories, generating tasks, and configuring objects and fields. This repetitive effort sparked our motivation to automate these processes and enhance team productivity within the Salesforce ecosystem.

What it does

FastAid provides a conversational interface within Salesforce that enables users to create, update, and manage metadata such as objects and fields using natural language. It intelligently interprets user intent and executes platform actions with the help of Agentforce and Einstein AI, significantly accelerating the development process.

How we built it

We built FastAid on the Salesforce Platform using Agentforce Agents, Lightening Flows, Apex for backend logic, and prompt templates to handle varied developer and admin queries. Topics and Actions were configured to contextualize responses, while custom labels allowed dynamic session management.

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges with AI hallucinations and inconsistencies in responses. Some prompts generated unexpected or incomplete outputs, requiring careful tuning of prompt templates and user expectations to ensure stability and accuracy.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of two key accomplishments: first, dramatically improving efficiency in Salesforce development by reducing manual effort; and second, enabling metadata generation — such as objects and fields — through natural language, moving beyond traditional data manipulation tasks.

What we learned

We've all seen AI tools — but Agentforce is different. It's not just another chatbot. It understands Salesforce at a platform level, and it builds for you — live, inside your environment. This is AI not just assisting you — but truly accelerating how Salesforce development is done. It shows the real magic: Agentforce doesn't just interpret client data — it actively creates and modifies metadata, building real components on the platform.

What's next for FastAid

We plan to expand FastAid’s capabilities by introducing support for Flow automation, permission set generation, and intelligent error detection. Additionally, we aim to build a feedback loop that allows the assistant to learn from previous interactions, improving accuracy and reliability over time.
