Inspiration
Jeffrey had a grandpa with Alzheimer's who saw the deterioration. The process was long and very grave, and I thought it should and could be helped through some means which is how he came up with the idea.
What it does
Assist Alzheimer's patients with being lost, what information they need to know for that day, and close relations.
How we built it
We built it through PhoneGap, so that it has cross platform functionalities.
Challenges we ran into
Keeping persistence of images and text as well as using the Google Api for calendar. Using the native calendar and accessing photo from the application Maintaining cross platform Utility
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Learning how to implement Google Location API and implemented a cross platform software.
What we learned
We learned html and how it can interact with multiple other languages and plug ins.
What's next for Forget me Not
Better implementation of task reminders with the native calendar applications and an update ui. Use of facial recognition for contact information and safety
