Forge is a configurable operational platform for submissions, evidence, review, approvals, permissions, and audit history.

For OpenAI Build Week, Forge is demonstrated through Solver Society, its first customer configuration. A participant signs in, opens a daily bankroll submission, and uploads one PokerStars cashier screenshot. GPT-5.6 extracts the visible poker site, registered account identity, balance, currency, and confidence. Forge then performs a deterministic identity comparison against the participant’s registered account.

The participant reviews the extracted information and submits it for review. A separately authenticated reviewer opens the submission, inspects the original screenshot together with the structured extraction and deterministic identity result, and records the binding human decision. GPT-5.6 does not approve the submission and cannot change official records. The reviewer remains the governing authority, and the approved state persists with reviewer identity and timestamp.

The Build Week demo focuses on one complete workflow: participant authentication, daily bankroll submission, required cashier screenshot upload, GPT-5.6 structured extraction, deterministic identity match, participant confirmation, reviewer authentication, governed review, human approval, and persisted approved state.

Most AI workflows blur the line between assistance and authority. Forge makes that boundary explicit: GPT-5.6 extracts and explains evidence, deterministic application logic verifies identity and controls workflow boundaries, and authorized humans make binding decisions.

Codex was used as the primary repository implementation environment for architecture-aware implementation, debugging, database policy work, tests, validation, and repository review. GPT-5.6 supported requirements, workflow design, governance boundaries, scope control, demo planning, submission documentation, and screenshot evidence extraction in the running application.
