Overview

I did the Novice level tutorial on Atlassian Forge Quest.

Description

This is a basic Hello World app that consists of getting the account’s name by calling an API route, getting the type of theme, and outputting a welcome message from the data returned by the API call. All of these features are rendered through React with Atlassian Forge’s UI kit.

What I learned

I learned about how to use the Atlassian platform especially their CLI and work with their UI library. I was able to learn a few commands from the Atlassian Forge CLI, successfully create my Hello World app, and deploy it in Confluence.

What I’m excited about in the future and looking forward to

I’m excited to learn more about the Atlassian platform and explore more features that it has to offer. Additionally I’m also looking forward to creating larger scale fullstack apps with Atlassian that users will be able to rely on soon.
