Inspiration

Wanted to get started with Forge app development. This quest helped me with getting started.

What it does

It renders my name, the space key and the theme in the confluence page

How we built it

I followed all the three parts of forge quest tutorial - https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/tool/forge-quest/forge-novice/tutorial-pt3/

Challenges we ran into

The documentation was easy and clear to follow. At the last part I wanted to deploy the changes with API call. I ran forge deploy without adding the permissions so it failed. forge lint command helped me in fixing this.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I learned the basics of Forge.

What we learned

Now I have basic understanding of Forge, how frontend and backend works and interacts with each other using resolvers and forge/bridge.

What's next for Forge Quest

I will try to migrate our existing connect app to forge.
