Inspiration

i have issues with confidence, when growing up i was subject to some intense bullying, and and to this day at 40+ still have trauma associated to this so wanted to create a meaningful tool that helps people strengthen their emotional intelligence and relationships. Inspired by the permanence of blockchain and the fragility of human intention, ForeverChain allows users to learn from experiences, build on the past, and convert commitments into something meaningful, to themselves and their loved ones.

What it does

ForeverChain blends secure journaling, AI voice coaching, and emotional growth tracking. Users can:

Capture personal entries (Seals & Whispers)
Receive personalized emotional coaching via voice
Track their mood and emotional trends
Create searchable public entries/commitments
Create immutable “ForeverSeals” that live on the blockchain

How we built it

Frontend: Built using Bolt.new, a React Native framework for mobile apps.
Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions)
AI Stack:
- OpenAI Whisper for speech-to-text
- GPT-4 for emotional insight generation
Blockchain: Future-facing integration via Alchemy + Polygon (currently mocked)

Challenges we ran into

Designing a seamless UX that feels emotional but structured
Managing audio processing securely via Supabase Edge Functions
Building and merging a searchable entries and immutable seals while preserving user privacy
Moderation for public entries via a unique tokenised search without breaking trust or anonymity
