Inspiration

My brother was having trouble planning out his major at Bates, so I got inspired to make a version of this for him, then apply it on a large scale where I study

What it does

visualizes each college's department's requirements as a network

How I built it

I modified Gephi's sigma.js exporter, scraped all the courses on the five-college course catalog, and used the modified sigma.js template to visualize each department

Challenges I ran into

the 5-college site thought I was ddos'ing them

runtime matters; also watch that you don't hurt the site you're scraping
