forest fire prevention

Inspiration

Inspired by people using machine learning models to study climate of an area, so i wanted to also build a product that will use the weather recordings to predict the effect of fire caused by climate change

What it does

It gets the temperature, humidity and oxygen volume in the region and predicts if the forests in that region can catch fire

How I built it

I used a machine learning model and built a flask app to act as a way for the user to insert the variables that will use used to make the predictions

Challenges I ran into

I had some challenges deploying the app in heroku

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I managed to finish the product

What I learned

I learnt to never give up on a challenge

What's next for forest fire prevention

I plan to make a world wide display of the effects of climate change
