Inspiration
This whole idea came up when the forest near my university caught fire and there were no alarms and pre-safety precautions.
What it does
This project is an attempt to use convolutional neural networks (CNN) to detect the presence or the start of a forest fire in an image. The idea is that this model could be applied to detect a fire or a start of a fire in a forest. The model could be applied in real-time and give alerts in case of fire.
How we built it
We build it using IoT python and using CNN algorithm in the google app script
Challenges we ran into
The main challenge was to work without sensors.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to apply IoT tech and comply with the neural networking algorithm.
What's next for Forest Fire Detection and Confirmation System
Future goals for this project are to add it to smart cameras and drones Use modern and enhanced sensors available. Making it a fully automated working module.
