Inspiration
We have an interest in both drones and the Myo, and felt like a purposeful mixture of the two could prove benificial in many ways. We got the idea from Syndrome's (from The Incredibles) hand drone that checks for signs of life.
What it does
The drone is controlled the natural methods of interaction (the Myo's hand gestures) and scans for environmental data such as humidity, temperature, and different gasses.
How I built it
We used the Myo, State Farm's Parot Drone, Microsoft Azure (for database, hosting, and analytics).
Challenges I ran into
Getting PHP to work with Azure as a database was possibly one of the most difficult parts.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Getting the project done on time.
What I learned
Database skills, patience, java programming, and Particle programing.
What's next for Biocopter?
Add more sensors to get more information and more gestures for Myo to make it more natural.
