What it does
A visual novel where you play a little guy trying to make it in the dating game before getting sucked into the black hole (rapidly approaching). Can you find a friend? Or maybe more... ;)
How we built it
Using Unity and Clip Studio Paint for assets.
Challenges we ran into
Unity decided to be NOT HELPFUL! And so unfortunately, despite the framework being there the actual visual novel portion is inaccessible.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Making an entire visual novel system inside of unity; it may not seem like much to the user however to get to the point that the code could be entirely reusable was quite the challenge.
What we learned
For some of us: Clip studio paint, for others better ways to make more efficient reusable code.
