Inspiration

We want more people to learn about the Forbidden City and Chinese culture and history.

What it does

Our website gives people the resources they need to explore the Forbidden City and learn about its history.

How we built it

We built this using CSS and HTML in Visual Studio Code.

Challenges we ran into

Our limited knowledge and skills regarding programming significantly limited what we could achieve. In addition, the time constraints also limited what we could do.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we learned how to overlay images and words after much struggle.

What we learned

We learned a lot about how to make a website with CSS and HTML. We learned how to overlay images and much more.

What's next for Forbidden City Guide

Originally we wanted to make the map an interactive map, but due to time and knowledge constraints, we were unable to do so. We hope to be able to create that in the future and add links that people can click for more information on the many significant places in the Forbidden City.
