Footprint

Inspiration

As we were brainstorming, we came across the fact that a lot of people wanted to view their past facebook posts, but could not do so because it took too much loading time. We also realized that due to the extensive loading time, users were not able to delete posts that they might not want to keep online.

What it does

Footprint allows users to easily view and search facebook posts by importing low-memory data of those posts. Also, Footprint provides suggestions of posts that you might not want online through performing threat analysis.

How we built it

We used flutter and firebase to build a cross-platform app. We have utilized python on a separate space to execute threat analysis.

Challenges we ran into

It was our first time building a full app out of flutter and firebase, so we had lots of difficulties that are rathe syntactical.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to pull through and create the whole app. We haven't slept for the whole period of hackathon to create a complete product.

What we learned

I think we needed a little bit more of management skill. Also, trying out different tools allowed us to broaden our perspective on product development.
