Inspiration
Wanting to reduce carbon emissions due to climate change and its effects on our and future generations. Additionally as college students, we want to practice healthy financial habits and wanted to create an app that combined saving money with saving the Earth.
What it does
It is a Chrome extension that calculates the carbon footprint of purchases and encourages users to change consumer habits. In this process, users learn to save money while also being mindful and intentional about their carbon footprint in regards to purchases.
