Inspiration
We took inspiration from silicon valley season 3 and some google ai experiements to create a PWA(progressive web app) which allows user to click photos of a food item and its displays and yells its name and its nutrition content.
What it does
Its tells name and nutrition content of any food item by click its photo and store this data locally so that user can see their daily nutrition consumption
How we built it
We used react, javascript, html,css to create a pwa and for image recognition we have used ibm watson api which we have trained with some food pictures from the internet
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our awesome UI which shows some cool effects in mobile and shout out how many calories you will get by eating given food item.
What's next for Foodwyze
To enchance its ui even more and to add features like notifications when daily fat consumption reach higher values and alert user and also use machine learning to predict any health problems user may face in the future by analysing its nutrition value
