Inspiration

Most of the time I've had to toss produce just because I forgot to use it or I didn't have any recipe ideas for it. In order to help reduce my food wastage I designed this on Amazon PartyRock

What it does

EcoChef is a world renowned chef who's able to come up with creative ideas in order to utilize all of your ingredients that are going to go bad

How we built it

I started of with prompting the app builder about what I want the application to do and how I want it to function.

Challenges we ran into

I wasn't pleased with the layout, it was too basic and didn't include extra features and a user friendly layout. I also had an issue with the prompts and what they were throwing out to the user, they weren't perfect and quite some time went into getting better responses.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud of the user friendly design, adding places for customizations and the prompts giving to the LLM. I also added a place to mention allergens; this encourages the user to not forget to mention any allergies (Peanuts, Seafood, etc.) and for the LLM to prevent themselves from creating recipes with those ingredients.

What we learned

I learned that prompts are essential in building a model like this and it requires a lot of time and fine tuning the prompts in order to create a model that comes close to our desired output.

What's next for EcoChef

I want to learn more about PartyRock and try to add a Chatbot that acts as a sous chef, I want the chatbot to be able to listen to customizations, changes and ideas and transfer them to the EcoChef - I'd love to grow this more and if anyone can let me know, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
