Have you ever been hungry but not known what type of food you crave? Have you ever felt frustrated browsing through Yelp entries that tell you little about the restaurants and fail to excite you about your options? For you, we present Foodr, the solution that gives you the most convenient and fun way to find a place to eat.
We believe that letting people select their dining options through photos will help them figure out what they really want and also excite them about their meal. We get a list of restaurants in the area through the Yelp API and scrape their website to limit it to the ones that are open and to obtain photos of their food. Users are able to swipe through this photos quickly until they find one that looks appealing, upon which they can tap it to be redirected to the business on Yelp for their ease. If they choose not to go there, they can simply return to the app to continue browsing.
