Donors such as restaurants, grocery stores, and individuals can list surplus food through the app, while recipients such as shelters or community members can view and claim available donations. FoodLink integrates AI image recognition and nutrition analysis (via LogMeal and NutritionIX APIs) to automatically identify food items and estimate their nutritional value, promoting transparency and health awareness in food sharing.
Through role-based experiences, donors can create and manage donations, while recipients can discover and claim food in need. Real-time updates powered by Supabase ensure data security, smart matching, and smooth communication between users.
