Inspiration
We were inspired for this product by all the homeless people that are unable to access food despite the tonnes of food disposed by restaurants when they are not sold. Working with people unable to afford food during our volunteer experiences enhanced our reasoning to work on this project.
What it does
Our program connects food donors with people or organizations in need of food who cannot afford it.
How we built it
We used C++ and javascript to create the interface of our app. We then used Artificial Intelligence to come up with an interface. We made the AI ourselves so the interface it came up with is rudimentary.
Challenges we ran into
Our code would not access the ChatGPT plugin that we had installed.

We're extremely proud of our website's interface. We believe that you will be shocked by it.
What we learned
We learned the value of teamwork and how valuable teamwork is to ace a wonderful competition like this.
What's next for FoodLink
W've decided to develop FoodLink into a company, and we thank you for giving us the opportunity to come up with such a wonderful website. No doubt, the market for FoodLink's expertise is vast and we predict that FoodLink will be a multimilliondollar business in the future.
