FoodHasteNoWaste is a revolutionary web application that empowers users to take charge of their food sustainability journey while providing an engaging and delightful experience. This innovative app is designed to tackle the pressing issue of food shortage sustainably. FoodHasteNoWaste combines food tracking, budget management, food bank donation options, recipe suggestions, and a unique gamified element to promote sustainable choices. The app fosters a sense of responsibility and eco-consciousness in users by entrusting them with the care of their virtual companion, Leafy, an adorable avatar plant.
By creating an appealing and user-friendly platform, this app empowers users to make a meaningful impact on the environment and their finances while fostering an emotional connection to their digital companion, Leafy.

How we built it
I designed this using VueJS, HTML, CSS . Yarn packages and npm were using to host the application.
Challenges we ran into
Realizing that this would be better as a mobile app, so we can have more features like scanning a grocery store receipt to override the need for manual entries.

I was proud to make a website that had some animation in it.
What we learned
I learnt how to add very minor gamification elements into a website.
