Inspiration

We were inspired by the sustainable development goals through which we realised the lack of accessible food for those in need, and the lack of efficient ways to facilitate this if you are able to volunteer.

What it does

A website that allows people to request food deliveries from local food banks if they are disabled, and also allows many options for donation and volunteering opportunities to provide this

How we built it

We made the main demo in Figma. this was then used to provide the technical solution, where a flask framework was used along side SQLite database.

Challenges we ran into

We were initially unsure how to efficiently display the website portal in a way that didn’t complicate or misrepresent our goals

We’re proud of our team work skills in collaboratively developing our Figma design

What we learned

We’ve learned through research about the ongoing poverty crisis in Scotland and also how we may try to tackle this sustainably

Fully developing the website deploying it and adding real life data
