Inspiration
We were inspired by our shared desire to help college students unsure about cooking.
What it does
FoodFindr takes a picture or a list and finds recipes for users to swipe through like a dating app.
How we built it
We used html, CSS, and JavaScript to create a website that fitted our needs.
Challenges we ran into
We struggled with some issues that arose from merging files, which we overcame through improving our communication and organization.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are very proud of our final product and what we learned. We got to gain experience, bond together, and create an amazing application that can help our community!
What we learned
We learned a lot about how to use structure and content with html, as well as how to use JavaScript for interactive functions. We also learned more about how to use APIs with programs.
What's next for FoodFindr
There are additional features that were not implemented due to time constraints, such as adding ways to filter through recipes or favorited dishes to appear more frequently during swiping.
