Inspiration
We wanted to do a project relating to maps and social good
What it does
It allows users to post any unneeded or surplus food items
How we built it
We used svelte, tailwind, shadcn for the frontend, map box for the backend
Challenges we ran into
It was challenging trying to get our correct longitude/latitude locations and getting our website to hydrate
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we could overcome our challenges to produce a fully functional website
What we learned
We learned a lot about integrating frontend and backend in terms of mapbox
What's next for FoodFind
Next, we plan on more precise location specification and account authentication
Built With
- mapbox
- shadcn
- supabase
