Inspiration

• Going to culinary school and getting realtime feedback from peers

What it does

• FoodCourt lets you upload your homemade meals and get them judged by the toughest food critics.

How we built it

• Used Xcode and Claude to develop a native iOS app
• Used Gemini's API to analyze and generate a review personifed as a specific judge (Ex: Gordon Ramsay)

Challenges we ran into

• This was my first time integrating APIs so I ran into problems connecting it and getting reviews to generate

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Making an iOS app prototype using AI tools only

What we learned

• I learned how to integrate APIs at a basic level
• I intentionally tried not to use Figma to design my app and instead used Claude. I definitely prefer starting in Figma as I'm more comfortable with it.

What's next for FoodCourt

• Redo the designs in Figma, where I have more control over the layout then update the app.
