FoodLink is a user-friendly app designed to streamline the process of food donation and distribution. Donors can easily submit details about their surplus food items, including quantity, type, shelf life, and more. Local charities can manage incoming donations, schedule pickups or collections, and coordinate the distribution of food to individuals and families in need. Real-time notifications keep everyone informed about the status of donations, pickups, and distributions.
How we built it 🚀
We built FoodLink using a combination of cutting-edge technologies and user-centered design principles. Our development team utilized programming languages like React JS and Mongodb, integrated location services for seamless navigation, and implemented secure user authentication to ensure the safety of all users' data.
