Our inspiration for Food4ALL came from the growing issue of food waste in the restaurant industry and the need to find effective solutions that benefit both businesses and communities.
What it does
Food4ALL is an app that predicts food orders for restaurants, helping them reduce surplus and minimize waste. By leveraging data analytics, it optimizes inventory management and supports local food banks by redirecting excess food.
How we built it
We developed Food4ALL using advanced algorithms that analyze historical sales data, seasonal trends, and customer preferences. This approach allows for accurate predictions and efficient resource allocation.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges we faced was acquiring high-quality data. Gathering reliable information on customer behavior and order patterns was crucial to refining our algorithm's accuracy.
