Soul Food: Swipe right at food instead of people

Tinder.

What it does

Instead of looking at people endlessly on Tinder, you can instead look at food. Whenever you like some food, it goes to your profile.

How we built it

React Native is the front end, Firebase is the backend, Github for sharing code.

Challenges we ran into

Coordinating the work between the front end and the backend was certainly difficult, as we had to go back and forth many times to get a proper design.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A complete multi-page full-stack app running on both iOS with user authentication. Do I have to say anything else?

What we learned

We all got much better at Github, working with apps on React Native, improved our JavaScript skills as well as worked in a full stack environment.

What's next for Food Tinder: Swipe right at food instead of people

In the profile page, we have to add a functionality where the user can see the food and it expands the view.
